AMANDA HECKLE

Once upon a time a little girl was born in Beacon, NY with a pencil in hand. Unknowingly coming from a long line of artistic ability, she was completely unaware of the natural talent she possessed. During an elementary school art project, she realized the talent and love she had for drawing.

Regardless of the class curriculum, she continued to improve her talent by teaching herself different techniques and ways of drawing. Soon she realized art was the best way to express her feelings. That little girl is me.

Art has always helped me get through any difficult situation by letting me express my emotions on paper. Over the years I've enjoyed many craft projects that requires all types of art, from cake decorating to renewing lawn ornaments.

When i was introduced to acrylic paint, it was the most difficult form of art i had to learn. But as much as abstract art helped me express myself, i found sunsets to always be so mentally comforting. And as i continue to work on my painting skills, i look forward to teaching myself all aspects of art and learning all i can.
