SARAH J. BERMAN

FUN FACTS

Sarah Berman is a freelance illustrator based in Beacon (natively from a small apple orchard in New Paltz) whose work is largely inspired by the natural sciences (anatomy, botany, zoology.) Since receiving her BFA at Parsons in 2015, she has worked full-time in the Hudson Valley as a medical illustrator, drawing systems of the body for doctors and elearning.

She is constantly experimenting with using a playful style to inform technical information, and observing how it can influence others’ interest in learning. You can otherwise find her hand-lettering in her studio, photographing portraits, wandering in the woods, or playing her harp.
