Kat Stoutenborough has lived in Beacon for over 10 years. She is currently the Artist-In-Residence at the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon. She lives in a cluttered, yellow house with Dan, Penny Mae, Tucker and Shorty.
This is Kat's third time participating in Windows on Main Street. Each time she experiments with new materials and finds herself transported to a new avenue of exploration. She is thrilled to be partnering with Vegetalien this year and is grateful for the opportunity.
She uses recycled materials in every project and is inspired by things that are usually given or thrown away. (All the vegetables are painted on the backs of cereal boxes!)
